Notes On The Surgery

_MG_1612
I dont know why it took me so long to write about it, since it happened way back in June, however Im finally getting to the part about my surgery. All throughout elementary school sports and theatre class exercises, yoga poses and swimming, I had trouble breathing and inhaling deeply. Finally, in February we went and visited a doctor, who told us that the left side of my septum was 80% deviated. On top of that, because of the extra pollution in Los Angeles and the irritation caused by insufficient breathing, the other side closed up the remaining passageway, so virtually no air was coming out of my left nostril. This is why I had elongated sicknesses, headaches, occasional trouble sleeping etc. etc. The doctor told me the surgery would change my life. And so we scheduled an appointment, and there we have it. He went in and straightened the septum, and I came out with a slightly different nose. I am fully healed now and enjoying breathing fully for once.
Hope that wasn't too much of a let down! I know many of you were itching to know what had happened.

Have a lovely week.

I'm glad that you're ok, and that the surgery went well, even though you had it a few months ago! Must have been scary for you!

Ah, my brother just had deviated septum surgery last month. He was hilariously drugged up after! Haha :)

Aw, so glad to hear you're doing better!

I couldn't help but notice that you're 16 years old! As am I ;) I do hope you can check out my blog whenever you have the chance. From a 16-year-old blogger to another, eh?

;) But really, it would honestly make my day.

I'm glad you're ok. I've also had a lot of difficulty breathing in the past few months but I have a feeling that's from a lot of stress... just writing about it now is going to make it start again so I better stop!

Happy that you're doing great and enjoying your newly straightened septum! now all you have to do is go to a lovely park in a place with less pollution and smell the fresh air!

I totally sympathize as I'm in the exact same situation. Apparently mine was always crooked but then I got nailed in the nose with a field hockey ball which resulted in it being broken which obviously exacerbated the problem. Anyway, my nose also looks completely different post being smashed which is pretty irritating. I'm not sure when I'm having my surgery bottom line, I feel your pain haha. Breathing sucks. And I sound like a freight train in my sleep apparently.

Wow I hope your feeling better, written out your condition sounds pretty scary.

Looks like there are plenty of reasons to cut back on needless emissions floating around in the air.
