I was in Zara a couple weeks ago with two dresses in my hand. One, a small lace baby doll dress, and the other, the dress I'm wearing here. I tried on both and showed them to my mother, aunt, and friend Ronnie that were there at the time. I held up the lace dress and said "This is who I want to be," and held up the orange one and said "And this is who I am." They all unanimously agreed that the orange one was the one I should go with.

I'm the same way. I'm attracted to things that I want to be but then right before I pay for it, I snap out of it(buyer's remorse maybe). Remaining true to yourself and your style is more important and by the way, you have such an adorable style. I love it.

I never used to like this lenght hemlines, as they can be tricky, but you pull it off so well. I might also give it a go more often. And true, it is a great color for the seaon!

I really like this post, not just because the dress is GORGEOUS, but also because you bring up a very valid point. Style is o expressive of who a person is, and sometimes it's hard to discern whether we're expressing who we are through what we wear, or whether we're using clothes to fill a persona that we want to be or try out.
