Forest Elf

Ive talked previously about my interest in photography and disposable film. I finally branched out to the old school stuff and used some legit 35mm in a Canon that a friend of my moms gave me when he learned that I was interested in film photos. Here are some photos that were taken as I experimented with exposure and shutter speeds. Thank you Young Ji.

Im wearing a vintage fur collar (on loan from my aunt), JBrand jeans, American Apparel lattice body suit, and a vintage forest green cashmere sweater.

I took a test shot of my mom! You guys haven't seen her in a year.

My mom is wearing an H+M sweater which she changed the buttons on, vintage mexico sterling silver beads.

Also, here are a couple photos of some things I happened to find beautiful in my day to day life.

Hope you enjoyed!

I love film photos, there's something about the color that you just can't replicate with digital. Love the fuzziness, too.

Film photography is so much more fun than digital (ignoring the times when you screw up entire rolls and end up with only 1 semi-okay photo, of course)!

And you look just like your mom! So cute! Love her sweater too :)

film is my favourite to shoot. it is a bit costly developing it all the time but i dont mind because the photos are so beautiful. and i love how it captures that moment and you cant erase it or edit it like how we can do it so easily with photoshop now.
and your mom is such a beautiful woman. LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER!

ps you really do have an eye for photography!

Ahh these photos are beautiful, I love that fur collar as well

Just a suggestion, don't edit the film pictures. It takes away from the rawness of it. Leave as is cause that's how it's meant to be.

I love film cameras too! my boyfriend makes fun of me because i am always carry a disposable camera with me. I have a box filled with 35mm prints from the last 5 years. I like that film forces you to make the photos tangible as opposed to it sitting virtually in your computer for years.

I have a post on my blog with 35mm prints that i took at Coachella.
