Library black cutout shirt, Marc by Marc Jacobs studded leather bag, Moschino Cheap & Chic jewel tone flower sandals, Avanti vintage bag, Anthropologie sweatpants, Chanel Spring 2010 temporary tattoos, Yves Saint Laurent Ring, American Apparel leather pouch, The Stylish Wanderer x Mr. Kate presents Le Cadeau ring, OPI Nail pink and purple polish.

Ive been changing the way I dress to make it more comfort oriented. Ive been fascinated with the idea of "luxurious" sweatpants for a long time now. In the end its all about being able to move in what you're wearing. I think sometimes people forget that... especially bloggers. There's all this pressure in the blog world to have the newest, greatest, latest thing/outfit/photos, although I bet many would refuse to admit it. At this point, I'm just going to wear what I want to wear; what feels right, and natural, and most of all, comfortable.

i love the fact that youre true to yourself and our style without compromising your comfort. at the end of the day, you look at your best when you feel comfortable and not everyone understands that. sometimes just wearing what you want is much more inovative than keeping up with the latest thing.
and with that said, i love the sandals! they are adorable!

I love the way you've put the sweatpants with other casual things, but then the amazing sandals and your jewellery etc make them look really great and edgy.

fashion epiphany! Comfort is one of the most important aspects in fashion, and those who can manage to pull off comfort without looking lazy are rather spectacular--- such as you. love, lula

Well said. I agree very much. I'm tired of seeing 12 inch wedges and teenie tiny skirts.

I love this outfit :]

i think you are SO right. people are so obsessed with looking the best or whatever, they forget to feel comfortable and they forget that they can just wear whatever they want to wear. without worrying what people think of them. anyway, thats what i think.

truer words have never been spoken! any outfit can be inspiring as long as someone is willing to wear it. day wear can be just as much fun i think and it helps when you are willing to mix it up. you should check out the pique jumper pants from AA, they are seriously comfy and stylish.

Good for you!
Personally I don't find sweats all that comfy, though. Aha, that's just me.

That's a great attitude!
Blogging should go back to it's roots and embrace individuality as opposed to coveting the latest trends.
Your pictures are also stunning <3

you are right.
outfits are really important to
people espacially to bloggers -
it's weird - because if you look carefully every outfit/style has his own uniqueness...it's really sad how day by day this uniqueness gets lost.
ps: I like your sandals they look cute!

THAT RING. IS. SO. GENIUS. Great, great job!! I love the whole combo, especially the fact that, while being completely comfortable, you still managed to add unique and interesting details-- this is nothing less than a completely put together ensemble!

Needles to say, the sandals are awesome! You are right, there is a constant pressure in everything concerning fashion. I am a fashion student and what I have learned is that there is always this strong competition, envy and dynamic, but also lots of ambition.
And I love your blog! ;)

What you said in this post is so true... I have to admit I fall prey to that 'pressure' a lot. I totally support your decision to wear whatever you want because you want to and not just because it's 'in'!
