Im always paranoid that I will be overdressed to an event. Turns out, when I wore this last saturday to a brunch...
I was.
However, upon entering Chanel to pick up those spring 2010 tattoos for some fun, I felt underdressed. Funny how things work out that way. Funny... and sad.

I don't think you are overdressed at all! I feel the same way as you though. I get dressed up to go out for lunch and even when I think I am not that dressed up...I am when compared to other people. I say, keep doing what you are doing and don't worry about what anyone thinks! I love your cape and the cranberry tights are a cool color. xo

what you're talking about reminds me of how the nordstrom employees treat me with more attention and respect when i walk in wearing my marc jacobs bag and true religions, versus in a vintage dress and crossbody bag. haha. very sad. but true.

the material of that cape is awful. it looks so stiff and itchy. the colour of the tights are horrendous too. the boots look extremely cheap, sister. this entire outfit is everywhere and looks juvenile. maybe next time try some black tights with some nicer looking shoes.

This is just stunning, how could you possibly feel underdressed? I think you'd fit in quite seamlessly at Chanel, looking so spectacular. I wanted that cape so much but cannot bring myself up to pay as much as it currently costs on eBay. Oh well... at least you wear it so nicely! My friends always love my outfits even if I seem more dressed up than them when we go out.
& for me whenever I see someone so dressed up, I always feel that I should've dressed up more too.
