Le Cinema

Having seen in the past week Lady Gaga, Avatar, Sherlock Holmes and Up in the Air, (saw it this evening), I can safely say Sherlock was the best entertainment.

Dont get me wrong, Lady Gaga is a phenomenal entertainer, but the concert was too loud. I dont care what you say, Id rather save myself from going deaf. Bad Romance, though, the last song in the concert was totally amazing. Everyone was so into it. I could feel the energy bouncing off the ceiling.

As far as Avatar, I heard we shouldve seen it in 3D, because apparently we didnt get the full experience. I dont know. I thought there was way too much violence. And I couldve written a book with all the corny lines in it. But the images were pretty beautiful.

Up in the Air was definitely a movie for older people, I only say this because right now Im at a point in my life where I want happy Meg Cabot romances. The ending was kind of depressing.

To sum it all up SHERLOCK HOLMES WAS DA BOMB. The music was great, Robert Downey Jr.'s performance was spot on. It was a ride like no other. I cant wait for the sequel.

Marc by Marc Jacobs heels and bag, vintage man pants, belt, white blouse, cross, and pocket watch skeleton.

Your shoes!! They are epic. And this outfit is so grown up. I really love it. (I have to make my wardrobe grow up for teacher's college next year...) Don't you ever feel weird not dressing your age?

I usually don't like movies with unhappy endings either. :/ And I admit, I LOVE Meg Cabot. :D The Princess Diaries book series is my #1 guilty pleasure.

those pants are just perfect. Avatar definitely should be seen in 3D, but I guess you have to overlook the bad dialogue and simplistic emotions that seem to characterize all James Cameron movies...Looking forward to seeing Sherlock Homes soon!

okay you've made your point with avatar too many times. move on. Don't stress your readers with one movie you didn't like just to be different from the rest of the world who likes it.

It's cliche but it's good movie. The people behind the movie did a great job.

just inform us when you're out with your book so we can compare you with james cameron.

I've been scouring the internet for decently priced Gaga tickets recently. I think I'd probably be willing to sacrifice my hearing for one night just to see her perform, I can't imagine her being anything less than spectacular..plus you really can't go wrong with Bad Romance.

Love the man pants! I have yet to find my perfect pair, but they're out there waiting for me somewhere...

well I totally agree with you sherlock holmes was amazing....I have told everyone to go see it because honestly Guy Ritchie did an excellent job.

I also saw "it's complicated" which I loved, Meryl Streep & Alec Baldwin had such great chemistry and it was hilarious!

I saw Avatar in 3D over the weekend and the images, like you said, are pretty beautiful, but beyond that, I didn't see it as life-changing. I am dying to see Sherlock Holmes. My brother and I keep talking about it but haven't managed to actually go see it haha. I of view Lady Gaga as mildly entertaining but I don't know, I don't really like her music when I hear it.

I really like the outfit :).
And as for the movies, I've definitely gotten mixed reviews of Sherlock Holmes.
I just saw Avatar (in 3D) and I really do think you miss half the fun if it is a regular screening. But the best part for me was the glowing forest at night, so gorgeous.
And I actually really admire Lady Gaga because she's an actual musician instead of just a synthesizer!

I really like this outfit- those are great trousers! I recently managed to appropriate two pairs of peg leg trousers and some tweed ones from my mum's wardrobe! Tailored trousers are my new favourite things...
The shoes are gorgeous too. Like a cross between loafers and high heeled brogues! Brown, white and blue works well as a colour range.
Just a quick question, where do you find most of your vintage from? I'd bee interested to know..

Holmes was amazing! I've heard some iffy reviews, but it was soo great! RDJ was basically born to play Sherlock, and I loved the ending of it. Anyway, your outfit is amazing (what else is new?)... I love the 1950s Katharine Hepburn feel.

Stop trying so hard.
Really. You're shunning people away from seeing some great movies. Remember your opinion is like God's voice to some people.
Try to keep that in mind.
Oh, and learn some humility, you need a good healthy dose.
