Kissing the Lipless

I cant tell you how much I love the length of these skirts. Ive been wearing them a lot lately, they make me feel so feminine. I love the print on this one. Very summer.

Fun game! Name the band who sings my title song.

Im going to do the Q+A post. I promise. I will do it. When? Im not sure. I need to find the time.

Vintage skirt, american apparel tank top, vintage belt, vintage bag, Chloe wedges.

Rockin' the red lips, wanderer. They remeind me of christmas time. Let's say a prayer, and pray for the other ones! At christmas time, its hard, but when we'rd haven fun! There's a world outside your window, and its a world of dread and fear, and the only water flowin' is the bitter sting of tears. And the christmas bells that ringin' are the clanging chimes of doom! Do they know its christmas time at all? Feed the world! Let them know its christmas time!

THE SHINS!!

Your blog is awesome and you've got a music taste to match. :)

i hated your latest chictopian blog.

this comment especially:

"What happened to when women wore dresses and skirts? That was the life! "

i'm all for skirts and dresses, really, but to say that the time when women wore dresses and skirts was the life is a completely ignorant statement, because the life of a conforming housewife that had no voice was not "the life". you have a great personality and voice, but to say that the lives those women were living was "the life" is disgusting.

I really adore your teen ugly posts. They are very very helpful, especially the summer glow one!
But, I felt that your latest post, about hanging out with guys, was kind of ironic. I'm just using this as an example, but many bloggers always say things like "wear what you want! Don't let anyone tell you not to wear something, be yourself, be different!". And yet, they post things we readers "can't wear" because otherwise, we look too normal. I feel this is hypocritical. Everyone should wear whatever they want, without being told what not to wear, wether they are told by an abercrombie spokesperson, or a popular and eclectically dressed style blogger, it makes no differance. I would like to know your opinion on my comment, because I think you'd probably have a good comeback :P.

anonymous 7:03- this is what happens when you take stuff too seriously. Im not really going to say much except you read into something that supposedly I was saying but I wasnt. You took me literally even though I was just talking about how much love skirts and dresses. Grow up. Dont try to pick a fight with a lame argument.

Anonymous 9:35- Hi there! The guide was basically just suggestions. I wasnt telling you what you HAVE to wear. It was an article, basically, for those who wanted it, and if you didnt want it then dont read it. With any opinion articles or papers there is bound to be someone who disagrees. I think it would be pretty hard to write one that would make everyone happy, so I didnt try to and instead wrote what I knew. People could take its advice or not. :) Thanks for reading, hope that answers your question. If not, let me know.

Anonymous said...

Thanks, you totally answered my question! I realize its hard to impress everyone, but you sure do a good job trying :).
