As we check style.com everyday for more Fashion Week Fall '09 coverage, let's take a step back to Fashion Week for Spring, a season which is right around the corner.
I had ignored Chloé for some time, telling myself that they were to high-priced for what they offered, i.e. nothing special. Then, when I picked up the latest Elle a few weeks ago and found the Everything is Illuminated spread, I did a double take on the fabulously metalic pink high-waisted trousers that the model was sporting. Chloé?!? It took me some time to actually go online and research the past collection, but Im glad I did.
I fell in love with the little brallettes and scalloped edges. Not to mention the cinched waists and pale nudes, olive greens, and dark shiny navys. The beautiful little bows and rolled slouchy shorts are definitely items I want to wear on a daily basis. Basically the whole collection was pure bliss, and I say bravo to the genius Hannah MacGibbon, Chloés new head designer.

Ah, that scalloped detail is so so pretty, yet understated (my favorite!). I love that first look with those crazy bloomers the best.
This was my very favorite collecting for spring, that and Rachel Comey.
<3 the girl.
I never get tired of looking at this collection. Hands down, one of the best to come out of S/S 09.
I love love love those frilled necked vests! Going to make one immediately!
I love Chloe, this collection was perfect.
EPIC!
my favorite Chloe collection yet!
I did a post on this about a month ago; how lovely this collection is ! :)
chloe is always gorgeous...but am i the only one that noticed the distinct similarity between the scalloped edges here and in christopher kane???
me too, i love their little shorts
Im loving the color palette. The nudes with the pop of rustic emerald green.
The shorts are so darn cute.
I definitely agree with kiki, there's something vaguely Christopher Kane-esque going on at Chloe for spring but that's certainly not a bad thing as I loved both of the collections!
I'd love it if you could check out my blog :-) www.prettyexquisite.blogspot.com
i agree. those pant silhouettes are to die. too bad chole's out of my wallet league.
Wow! The bows, and the pants, so perfect. The whole Chloe look is so inspiring to me! I hope I can somehow recreate these looks with less expensive pieces.
I totally agree. I never thought twice about Chloe until this collection. It was my favorite of all the spring shows. Now I'm a bit Chloe obsessed!
