When I wore the
black version of this hat I got a couple of comments saying I looked like
Blossom. I filed that away in the back of my head and when I went for a sleepover at a friends house, I took this cream version with me. I wake up the following day and leave and then what do I find in front of my friends house? A beautiful blooming magnolia tree. Of course very fitting, and of course the perfect photo op.
My mother got on the ground to take these pictures. I did not ask her to do that.
Yes she is strange, but she's mine. :)

I have vintage white boots that look exactly like that!! They remind me a bit of ice skates with the hook lace-ups at the top :) except mine have hard wooden heels which are a bother sometimes

Okay, I don't think that your mom is weird, because I still like to take my son's photographs (he is 19 yrs old). That's all moms do, photographs their children, so when they grow older, they can look at all of those photos, and remember how all the beautiful thing...

My mom is just like your mom. When she takes my photo's she does all crazy kind of stuff. I'm happy she's supportive though! I had a 90's party back in December for my birthday (check blog for pics if curious) and wore what I thought was a nice F21 cloche, which quickly became the Blossom hat. Probably because it was a 90's party. And I stuck an actual blossom on it :P
