You know its the holiday season when there are pine cones around just waiting to be picked up. I saw this ad of Dakota Fanning for Marc Jacobs, (BTW where has this been all my life?!! She is all of 11 here and she gets to work with Juergen Teller AND Marc Jacobs??!? Rough justice, rough justice), last night and when I woke up this morning I sub-consciously dressed accordingly. I had been wanting to do the scarf/bow on mens shirt thing for a little while now, and finally did.

Ugh, I need to get a pair of khaki pants for a temp job I may do. I can't remember the last time I wore a pair.
I like this - it's a little more exotic than the MJ picture, which I think looks great. And festive. Yes. The red is festive - nice and cheery!
So there IS a squirrel-obsessed guy. That is so crazy! I've never seen the whole comic book type nerd. Though I've never seen anyone obsessed with squirrels, so maybe the classic nerd exists somewhere in the wild ;)

I love the outfit. You pulled off the shirt/bow thing very nicely. A great mix of colors. I could see this in some teenvogue spread. Actually, it reminds me of an old issue that I enjoyed.
