Flamingo Movement

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I am deeply in love with these Ghost bloomers from the 80s. They have little flower designs on the bottom of them and are just perfect for spring, summer, winter, you name it. They are originally longer but I rolled the top up and made them shorter.

I recently bought an American Apparel U-Neck Dress in navy, and it is so very very versatile and lovely. I got the dress in a medium so I could still put tights or thin shorts under it if need be, and definitely recommend going a size up if you buy one. Its form fitting even with a size up, Id be afraid to know what a normal size would like like!

Those two dogs in the photos are my aunt's. The longer-haired one is named Possum, the other chubbier one is Pinky. Possum acts like she is a model, and Pinky just wants to know when her next meal is going to be.

Edit: Thanks to The Fashion Blog, for the award! And thanks to Micaela for the other award! Means so much!
(navy dress/skirt, american apparel. striped long sleeve tee, mothers. cream boots, david aaron. white bloomers, vintage Ghost. straw hat, aunt's.)
photo credit- cousin dearest, thank you!

oh i envy you for being in a place that is hot enough not to wear stockings/pants in the winter. and your bloomers are awesome! i need to get a pair.

I couldn't tell for a second, but I'm assuming you're wearing the u-neck dress in this picture? (At first I thought they were just a part of the bloomers.) I love this outfit, makes me think you need to go on a sailing trip right now. And I still can't get over the amazingness of the shirt! What was the label again?

And I'll update as soon as I have something worth updating with. My life is terribly dull!

First of all, I am jealous because you have beautiful sunshine. Second, I'm jealous because you have adorable bloomers which make me really want a pair (contrary to any previous notions I had about them). Thirdly, you look too damn cool, and I'm jealous yet again.
