I have quite an addiction with American Apparel. Their scrumptious basics are too lovely not to put on on a daily basis. I seriously want every single item in the store in a array of colors, but recently, Ive come to realize the power of black. Im afraid I have too little of it in my wardrobe, and so here I have compiled my list of black items that I just am in love with.
1. This Tri-blend Light Weight Raglan Black Pullover is just a wonderful item I imagine pairing with light trousers or wearing over black tights, belting it when I want.
2. This Interlock Black Pencil Skirt seems to be incredibly versatile. You can tuck in oversized button ups or use it to layer over items. Ah, sigh. Its lovely.
3. The Tri-Blend Racerback Tank is just a basic black tank that seems like it would be amazing to wear it backwards like this, with perhaps a leotard under it and some skinny jeans.
4. These Black Disco Pants look so fantastic. I would wear them with just about anything. Gray oversize sweaters, basic white tees, and a perfect blazer. As well as my three-buckled black flats.
5. Id want to wear this Tri-Blend Short Sleeve Leisure Shirt loosely and perhaps slightly off the shoulder with a sequined something and a pair of funky shoes.

i'm also a member of aaa, the american apparel addict group. anddd i'm addicted to wearing black, so you basically ripped my wishlist from my head and put it on this blog, hah. i've got the raglan pullover and gray and it's truly a miracle garment. i'm lusting hardcore after the disco pant, but can't figure out for the life of me why it's $90! i guess i'll just start saving pennies..

Wow, too little black in one's wardrobe seems like a rare problem. But gotta love AA, except for the overpriced-ness of the disco pants as mentioned earlier.
I went to an actual American Apparel shop for the first time yesterday! I'd just been admiring from the internet for like yearsss. And I was in awe of allthe pretty colours! You can't help but want every damn thing. haha.

I have an AA issue too. It's bad. You should soooo go for the black triblend pull over though, I have one and its sooo comfy!
I love AA and i love black. Combined, they are a perfect idea. The dress reminds me of Chanel spectator pumps. I love the way the disco pants look online, but then I saw them in person and was kind of disenchanted, plus they are expensive (over $100)!
A close friend of mine works in the American Apparel offices, which means I have access to an employee discount [half-off, I believe?] and I know when they have really huge warehouse sales.
But have I ever actually bought something from there? No. I'm ridiculous.
I may have to change that, though. The pencil skirt seems fantastic.

I purposely took a trip to my AA store to get those disco pants, and they didn't have them in stock! They got a shipment in but had to send them back because apparently they were defective?!
Who knows. I'll have to go back to see if they have them in because I NEED TO LOOK LIKE SANDY FROM GREASE IN THE LAST SCENE!
